Is there a way to see if a timing belt / chain is broken on a 3.5 chryslerengne withou taking the car apart?
I a 3.5 Concorde WLL start, I think it's an electrical problem the car had some in recent years. But what is the best way to see if the belt or chain is broken?
… "If the car does not start and you try'd everything else (son of candles, reel, fuel, etc.) … it might be the timing belt … It's a little rubbery, which is not very stable and do not want than knowing for sure is to go "Dig it out" … It's under a small cover behind the water pump, so that will require a qualified shop and someone who knows what they do. It's about a 2 hours. "flat" job … Call around and see who can replace you.
