Is this a good snowboard package for me?
I just took the snowboard and it's cheaper for me to buy a package that all rent haha season, so I took a 164 2007 ltd Prodigy Lamar MX30 with connections to size 13 Mens boots classic head .. I'm 5'11 240 pounds and a standard competence novice …. Think that is a good package for someone like me? I'll put a link tomorrow for eBay whee I got it too, I should mention it's a wide board
Yeah, it must be a fairly good for a beginner. This is a good size board for your level of experience and weight. Also, being that it is a wide plank, you'll have no problem with size 13 boots. Although it is not just manufacturers high-end snowboard (LTD, Lamar, Head), they still make decent gear. It is a good starter package. As you said, the purchase of such things will be cheaper than renting the whole season. Also, if you decide you like snowboarding, you can sell this gear and upgrade.
